Ocean Basket Garden Route Mall

Ocean Basket Garden Route Mall is a seafood and sushi restaurant in Shop 84A at Garden Route Mall on Knysna Road in Kraai Bosch, George. The mall setting makes it a practical choice for a meal during a shopping trip, a casual dinner, or a get-together with family and friends in the Garden Route.

The menu centres on seafood prepared in different ways, including grilled options, freshly made sushi and sharing platters. Familiar family favourites add variety for diners who prefer a straightforward meal, while the larger platters are suited to sharing around the table. The overall approach is relaxed and sociable, with food designed for informal meals rather than a formal dining occasion.

Dine-in service is available for lunch or dinner, with coffee, beer, cocktails and other drinks listed among the available options. The restaurant also supports takeaway ordering and delivery, giving diners a choice between eating at the mall, collecting a meal or having food brought to another location. Debit card payments are accepted.

Families can find an easygoing setting with familiar food and generous portions, while groups of friends can make use of the sharing-style menu. Sushi provides a lighter or more varied option alongside grilled seafood, and the menu format allows a table to order several items for communal dining. The restaurant also caters for celebrations, with outside cakes permitted subject to confirmation of the applicable restaurant policy.
