Description
Upon arrival at the Plettenberg Bay office, two guides fit you with a professional full-body harness by Singing Rock, compliant with European and American safety standards. You receive bottled water, a mop cap, safety helmet, and gloves.
A short walk leads to the first platform for a safety briefing and demonstration. The zipline cables use certified 13mm steel wire rope with a 107KN breaking strength, compliant with South African occupational health and safety regulations.
Each zipline is equipped with a guide-operated stop block to ensure a hands-free experience and safe landings.
The tour covers several ziplines offering unique perspectives of the Plettenberg Bay wilderness, including forests, cliffs, and the Indian Ocean. Lines vary in length and speed, balancing excitement and relaxation.
Guides share knowledge about local flora and fauna, and you may spot native birds and small mammals during the tour.
There is a pause at a scenic viewpoint for photos and resting. The final zipline ride returns you to the starting point.
