Plettenberg Bay Country Club
Gardenroute
Plettenberg Bay Country Club is set in a stunning private reserve and includes a par 72, 18 hole golf course as well as four all weather tennis courts and two magnificent bowling greens.
This highly rated Garden Route golf course is an extremely popular tourist destination. Although the golf course is easy to walk, golf carts are always available for the not so energetic. Golfers are treated to an excellent playing surface . The lush Kikuyu grass fairways and recently over seeded, bent grass greens give this golf course year round consistency.
All greens and bunkers at the Plettenberg Bay Country Club golf course are to USGA specifications and despite competition from Plettenberg Bay's beautiful beaches and rolling surf, the golf club is busy, so booking is essential.
This Parkland Course has no intrusive houses or traffic noise and is populated mainly with indigenous flora and fauna so the natural beauty has been carefully retained. Monkeys, birdlife like the Knysna Loerie and woodpeckers as well as the occasional deer may make an appearance.
All visitors are welcome with no restriction. Wednesday and Saturday competition days may be booked by golfers in possession of a valid handicap. Tuesdays offer a ladies competition.
