Designed by golf architect Peter Matkovich and professional golfer Darren Clark, this 18 hole golf course provides an excellent all-round challenge in what many consider to be Matkovich’s best design.

Not far from Mossel Bay along South Africa’s beautiful Garden Route, Pinnacle Point Beach and Golf Resort really is a golfing masterpiece, dubbed by Matkovich himself as the ‘the most dramatic golf course site I’ve ever encountered anywhere in the world’ and rated by many as “the best golf course on the planet”.

Pinnacle Point’s golf course has five tee options per hole: pro tee, championship tee, club tee, ladies tee and pensioner tee.

The combination of bent grass on the greens and rei and fescue on the fairway offer a superb golfing landscape, which can cope with a lot of foot traffic while remaining unspoilt.

This dramatic course may at first, appear slightly intimidating but each hole is moderate in length and offers good scoring opportunities for golfers.

Dress Code and Regulations

Golf carts are compulsory. The resort's carts are equipped with GPS systems.

Appropriate golf attire applies with soft spikes compulsory and short socks permitted.

Rental golf sets are available for guests who do not bring their own clubs. Tee times must be booked in advance.

Golf lessons are available from the Club’s Professionals.
