Come take a tour with us and visit the vibrant community of KwaNokuthula, Plettenberg Bay in South Africa, and experience our Kwano Lifestyle Day Tour! This immersive tour offers a unique glimpse into the daily lives of the locals, showcasing the rich culture and traditions of the Xhosa people. During the week, we'll hop on a local taxi and visit a local creche, where the children will enchant us with songs in their native language. Their bright smiles and joyful voices will leave you captivated and inspired. On weekends, we'll take a stroll through the bustling streets of Kwano, where the sounds of the Xhosa language fill the air. Listen closely and you might just pick up a few of the 15 distinct clicks that are a hallmark of this beautiful language! Next, we'll visit Siya's dreadlock salon, where he'll regale us with stories and share the significance of natural hair in Xhosa culture. You might even be tempted to try a new hairstyle! Afterward, we'll stop by the local spaza shop, a hub of community activity where locals purchase their daily essentials, including loose cigarettes (known as 'draws')and boxes of Lion matches. As we continue our journey, it's time to quench your thirst at the lively tavern, where you can sample local beers and mingle with the friendly locals.
