Mossel Bay Golf Club is situated in Mossel Bay, the gateway to the Garden Route and belongs to the Mossel Bay Golf Estate and Nature Reserve. The golf course is well known for its striking natural beauty and stunning surroundings. With a spectacular view of the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean from every tee, this 18-hole, par 72, 71 rating links style course, with its large undulating greens, offers an idyllic and challenging round of golf.
Mossel Bay Golf Club is one of the oldest in South Africa and was founded in 1905.The golf course moved to its current location in 1924. Teeing off at Mossel Bay Golf Club has to be the perfect way to start your golfing trip along the coastal areas of South Africa's Garden Route. The course offers an easy walk and is very playable from tee to green for all golfers, even if you are new to the game. The striking views of the Indian Ocean or sightings of Springbuck wandering on the course might distract you a little, but you will certainly be left with lasting memories. Many of the tees are set above the fairways with the Indian Ocean as a backdrop. 96 well-placed bunkers ensure that better golfers will also find the course challenging. The friendly service of the staff and friendliness of the members of Mossel Bay Golf Club will leave a lasting impression.
The Mossel Bay Golf Course's 3rd hole is the signature hole and is a par 4. At nearly 400m, and a stroke three, this is a fairly challenging hole especially if playing into the sea breeze.
The course is open to visitors but bookings are required. Wednesdays, Saturdays and Public Holidays are compulsory competition days and corporate golf days can be arranged.

Dress Code
Suitable golf attire is required for the golf course and clubhouse. Only golf shoes with soft spikes (no golf sandals) are allowed on the course.
