Description
Explore the Swartberg Mountain range with 360-degree views from the summit at 1,585 meters above sea level. Multiple stops along the route provide excellent photo opportunities and insights into the pass’s history, dating back to 1881. This national monument and World Heritage site showcases unique fauna, flora, and geology that your guide will explain in detail.
After reaching the summit, the tour continues downhill towards the Great Karoo. You will have about 30 minutes to hike in the reserve or along the pass to observe local wildlife. Downhill mountain biking back to Kobus se Gat restaurant is available at an additional cost.
The tour ends with a 'Best of the Karoo' meal, offering traditional regional dishes to complete the experience.
