Description

Begin in Cape Town and travel to Betty’s Bay to see African penguins, followed by whale watching in Hermanus. Enjoy a wine tasting at Benguela Cove and visit Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of Africa.

Day two includes a visit to Swellendam, a safari at Botlierskop Game Reserve, and an overnight stay in Mossel Bay. Continue along the Garden Route to Wilderness and the Knysna Heads, with a sunset cruise on Knysna Lagoon and accommodation in Knysna.

On day four, hike in Robberg Nature Reserve and relax on Plettenberg Bay’s beaches. Day five offers an optional bungee jump at Bloukrans Bridge, the world’s highest, followed by a tour of Port Elizabeth.

The journey continues to Port Alfred and East London, ending with an overnight stay in East London. Explore Mvezo, Nelson Mandela’s birthplace, and visit the Mthatha Museum while staying in Mthatha.

Day eight features the Mandela Capture Site and Howick Falls before arriving in Durban. After a city tour on day nine, enjoy a hippo and crocodile boat cruise on the St Lucia Estuary in iSimangaliso Wetland Park.

Days ten and eleven focus on Mpumalanga with a full-day safari in Kruger National Park to see the Big 5 and visits to Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and Berlin Falls.
