Description
Begin your journey departing Cape Town heading to Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo, passing through Ronnie’s Sex Shop for refreshments. Explore the Cango Caves and visit a local ostrich farm before overnighting in Oudtshoorn with a local dinner.
Day two crosses the mountain range to the Garden Route coast. Enjoy panoramic views from the Map of Africa lookout, visit Knysna, then continue to Plettenberg Bay and stay overnight in Storms River village.
On day three, explore Tsitsikamma National Park with a coastal walk to the Storms River Mouth hanging bridge. Proceed to Addo Elephant National Park to observe elephant herds and wildlife, or alternatively, head to Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa’s surfing capital, for the night.
Day four includes the option to take the world’s highest bungee jump at Bloukrans Bridge. Overnight accommodation is at Garden Route Game Lodge, followed by a late afternoon safari drive to spot rhinos, lions, buffalo, cheetahs, and antelopes.
The final day offers an early morning safari when animals are most active before departing for Hermanus, known for Southern Right whale sightings. Return to Cape Town late afternoon via the False Bay coastline.
