Description
Depart Cape Town and travel to Cape Agulhas, where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet, visiting its iconic lighthouse. En route, stop at Betty’s Bay to see the African penguin colony. Continue to Hermanus, famous for observing Southern right whales from land.
Spend the first night at a 4-star guest house near Cape Agulhas. On the next day, journey to the Garden Route Game Lodge, a 4-star safari facility offering award-winning chalets and lodge rooms. In the afternoon, join a guided 2-hour game drive to see wildlife such as elephants, rhinos, lions, hippos, and various antelope species. A 3-course dinner is served before overnighting at the lodge.
Begin the following day with an early morning game drive before breakfast. Then return to Cape Town via the scenic Route 62, passing mountain passes and small towns. The itinerary includes wine tasting before arriving back at your accommodation between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
