Description
Begin with a scenic coastal drive from Cape Town, enjoying ocean views and rugged landscapes along one of the Western Cape’s most beautiful routes. Stop at Stony Point Nature Reserve in Betty’s Bay to walk among a colony of African penguins in their natural environment.
Continue towards the southern coastline, passing coastal towns before arriving at Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of Africa where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. Visit the historic lighthouse and explore the dramatic shoreline.
In the afternoon, check in to a 4-star private game reserve and join a guided sunset game drive in an open safari vehicle. Search for lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species accompanied by experienced rangers. After the safari, enjoy a three-course dinner at the lodge.
The next morning offers an early sunrise safari, when wildlife activity increases. Return to the lodge for breakfast before the scenic drive back to Cape Town.
