Description
Begin in Cape Town, visiting Betty’s Bay to see African penguins, followed by whale watching in Hermanus and wine tasting at Benguela Cove. Then visit Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa.
On day two, travel to Swellendam for a safari at Botlierskop Game Reserve before spending the evening in Mossel Bay. Continue along the Garden Route, exploring Wilderness, the Knysna Heads, and enjoying a sunset cruise on Knysna Lagoon, with an overnight stay in Knysna.
Day four includes hiking in Robberg Nature Reserve and relaxing on Plettenberg Bay’s beaches. Day five offers the option to bungy jump at Bloukrans Bridge (own expense) before a tour of Port Elizabeth.
Proceed to visits in Port Alfred and East London, staying overnight in East London. On the Wild Coast, explore Mvezo, the Mthatha Museum, and stay in Mthatha.
Day eight features the Mandela Capture Site, Howick Falls, and arrival in Durban for an overnight stay. On day nine, enjoy a city tour of Durban before a hippo and crocodile boat cruise on the St Lucia Estuary in iSimangaliso Wetland Park.
Days ten and eleven focus on Mpumalanga, including a full-day safari in Kruger National Park to see elephants, lions, buffalo, rhino, leopard, and other wildlife. Visit Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and Berlin Falls.
The tour concludes on day twelve with a transfer to Johannesburg.
