Day 1: Cape Town to the Wine Route and Karoo and Oudtshoorn Depart Cape Town in the morning and begin your journey along the scenic wine route. Travel through fascinating towns and enjoy beautiful landscapes and countryside views along the way. Continue the journey towards the Karoo, one of South Africa’s most distinctive regions, renowned for its dramatic scenery, wide-open spaces, and unique character. Tour Cango Caves in the afternoon. Overnight a De Oude Meul Country Lodge in Oudtshoorn or similar. Day 2: Botlierskop Private Game Reserve Safari and Knysna Heads Enjoy an exciting safari experience at Botlierskop Private Game Reserve, where you’ll have the opportunity to search for Africa’s Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. The reserve is also home to a variety of other wildlife, including giraffe, kudu, impala, zebra, and many more fascinating species. Spend the day enjoying the African wilderness, spectacular scenery, and opportunities for unforgettable wildlife sightings. In the afternoon proceed to tour Knysna Heads. Overnight at Russel Hotel Knysna or similar. Day 3: Robberg Nature Reserve and Plettenberg Bay Continue your South African adventure with a scenic journey towards the Robberg Nature Reserve area. Enjoy the spectacular mountain landscapes and surrounding scenery while traveling through this beautiful part of the country. Hike in the nature reserve. Take time to explore the area and appreciate the natural beauty. Proceed to the beach in Knysna for a tour and relaxation. Overnight at Russel Hotel Knysna or similar. Day 4: Whale Coast, Wine Tasting, and Return to Cape Town Continue your journey along the scenic Whale Coast route, taking in beautiful coastal landscapes and charming surroundings. Visit Hermanus and tour the Cliff Path. then proceed to Benguela Cove Wine estate to enjoy a wine-tasting experience, sampling some of South Africa’s renowned wines while taking in the atmosphere of the region. Then proceed to Betty's Bay to see the African Penguins. Afterwards, begin the journey back to Cape Town, concluding your memorable 4-day South African wine, wildlife, and scenic tour.
