Description
Embark on a 7-day journey from Durban to Cape Town through key historical sites, coastal towns, and natural reserves along the Garden Route.
Day 1 starts in Durban with visits to Howick Falls and the Mandela Capture Site, then continues through Underberg to Mthatha. On Day 2, explore the Mandela Museum and Mandela’s birthplace in Mvezo before heading to East London’s beaches.
Day 3 covers Port Alfred and Port Elizabeth, coastal towns with unique charm. Day 4 features an optional bungy jump at Bloukrans Bridge, the world’s highest, then travel to Plettenberg Bay.
Day 5 includes hiking at Robberg Nature Reserve, time on Plettenberg Bay beaches, a visit to Knysna Heads, and an optional sunset cruise on Knysna Lagoon. Day 6 starts with a safari at Botlierskop Game Reserve, home to the Big 5, followed by travel to Hermanus for seasonal whale watching.
