Description
Day 1 Addo Elephant National Park Begin your adventure in the Eastern Cape’s great wilderness. Addo is raw Africa — where elephants, lions, and buffalo roam freely among the spekboom thickets. Feel the safari spirit as your guide introduces you to the rhythms of the wild. Day 2 Tsitsikamma Enter the Garden Route, where rainforest meets rugged ocean. Walk the Storms River suspension bridge or paddle beneath forest canopies — nature here is alive and untamed. Day 3 Heads of Knysna Continue past lagoons and lakes to the tranquil town of Wilderness. Pause in Knysna for oysters and views of its famous Heads before watching the sunset from your riverside lodge. Day 4 Cango Caves Karoo Cross the mountains into a different world — the semi-arid Klein Karoo. Explore the magnificent Cango Caves and visit an ostrich farm, learning about life in the heart of South Africa’s drylands. Day 5 Swartberg Pass little Karoo Climb the legendary Swartberg Pass, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Wind your way through red rock canyons to Prince Albert, a quiet Karoo town where stargazing feels like touching eternity. Day 6 Greater Karoo Experience Drive through open Karoo plains to Gariep Dam — South Africa’s inland sea. A peaceful evening awaits with a sunset cruise or a walk along the water’s edge. Day 7 Diamond City Follow the path of the Orange River to Kimberley, the diamond capital. Explore the Big Hole and relive the golden age of the diamond rush. History, elegance, and grit meet here. Day 8 Kalahari highlights The landscapes turn red and dry as you approach the edge of the Kalahari. Visit the Eye of Kuruman, a natural spring that has given life to this desert for centuries, and explore Wonderwerk Cave — a time capsule of ancient human history. Day 9 South African BaTswana Culture and tradition experience Travel through wide-open farmlands, where life moves slowly and the people are genuine. Learn about local traditions, cattle farming, and small-town life in this forgotten part of South Africa. Day 10 Pilanisberg National Park The road leads into lush bushveld again. At Pilanesberg, nestled in an extinct volcano, the Big Five roam free. Enjoy an afternoon safari, soaking in the sound of lions at dusk. Day 11 Johannesburg Awake to one last sunrise in the wild. After breakfast and an optional early game drive, travel to Johannesburg — the city of gold — where your journey ends, full of memories and miles of discovery.Includes
