Set off toward Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of Africa. Stop at Betty’s Bay to visit its charming penguin colony, followed by a visit to Hermanus, famed for land-based whale watching. Explore local markets and enjoy lunch here (own expense). Continue to Struisbaai/Cape Agulhas to visit the iconic lighthouse with panoramic views of the oceans. Rest at the cozy Mermaid Guest House. Dinner is included, offering a perfect end to a scenic day. After breakfast, leave the southern coast behind and head to Buffelsdrift Game Lodge near Oudtshoorn. This 4-star lodge offers a unique safari setting and luxurious tented chalets. Upon arrival, relax before heading out on a 3-hour afternoon game drive in an open-air vehicle. Spot lions, rhinos, elephants, antelopes, and more with expert guidance. Return to the lodge to enjoy a delicious 3-course dinner and unwind under the African sky. The final day begins with an early morning game drive—your chance to see wildlife in the crisp morning air.
