Embark on a captivating 10-day adventure that blends Cape Town's iconic city charm with the natural beauty of the Garden Route. Day 1-2: Cape Town (Unguided) Arrive in Cape Town and get transferred to your accommodation, Enjoy free days to explore the city at your own pace. Your included City Sightseeing bus pass lets you explore Cape Town’s top attractions. Visit Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Gardens and V&A Waterfront. Overnight: Never@Home Backpackers or Protea Hotel, Victoria Junction (optional with extra cost). Day 3: Cape Point (Guided) Join a small group guided tour to Cape Point, including the stunning Chapman’s Peak drive. Visit Boulders Beach (entry optional with extra cost)to see the famous African penguins and enjoy the wild landscapes of the Cape of Good Hope National Park. Overnight: Never@Home Backpackers or Protea Hotel, Victoria Junction (optional at extra cost). Day 4: Cape Winelands Tour (Guided) Experience the wine region with a visit to at least three top estates. Enjoy wine tastings and a chance to explore Stellenbosch or Franschhoek. Overnight: Never@Home Backpackers or Protea Hotel, Victoria Junction (optional at extra cost). Day 5: Travel to Oudtshoorn (Guided) Begin the Garden Route journey along Route 62, with a wine tasting stop. Reach Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital of the world. Overnight: Uthando Backpackers or Hlangana Lodge (or upgrade to Buffelsdrift Glamping) (optional at extra cost). Day 6: Cango Caves & Addo (Guided) Explore the Cango Caves' fascinating limestone chambers. Afterward, head to Addo National Park for a wildlife safari in the tour bus. On the route stop at a local padstal for a sit down South African traditional treats tasting experience; sampling bobotie, roosterkoek, koeksisters and melktert. Overnight: Avoca Backpackers or Addo Wildlife Lodge (optional at extra cost). Day 7: Addo & J'Bay (Guided) Start with a morning safari in Addo Elephant National Park, then head to Jeffreys Bay, the surf capital of South Africa. Optional activities include surfing or beach horseback riding. Overnight: Island Vibe Backpacker Cabins or On The Beach Guest House (optional at extra cost). Day 8: Tsitsikamma area (Guided) Enjoy adventure optional activities like bungy jumping from Bloukrans Bridge or ziplining over waterfalls in Tsitsikamma. Day 9: Wilderness area (Guided) Drive through the scenic coastal route, stopping at Mossel Bay for optional safari activities. Return to Cape Town or Stellenbosch by evening.
